Why butterflies?
In 2021, my friends and I lost one of our best friends to stage four breast cancer.
We lost her within one month of learning of her diagnosis. She was thirty years
young, beautiful, and one of a kind. My friends and I wear matching butterfly
tattoos in her memory.
Each butterfly that I make is unique and one of a kind — just like her. They serve
as a reminder that memories can continue to bloom long after someone is gone.
“Butterflies don't live long. They're delicate, just like moments, people, and the
phases of our lives.”
